Linda worked in mixed media using acrylic paint and collage paper. She liked the texture and patterns that develop, and also the element of surprise with found objects from nature that she introduce into each work.
The problem with browsing photos on the website with this type of art is that it is difficult to really see close-up the unique fusion of paint and dyed papers. The creation of each piece is never predictable and the viewer often needs to enjoy the search for what exists within the canvas. We have included an image of detail along with each painting to help depict the individuality and surface textures of the work.
